Takes All Kinds: The Open Mic at Oklawaha has been running since 2016. Hosted by Josh and Steve of The Gathering Dark and featuring the famous prizemaster Jose! Each week a contestant is declared OPEN MIC CHAMPION of the WORLD and goes home with a wonderful prize package curated by Hendersonville's own Jose. We love singers, musicians, poets, dancers, comedians...we take all kinds! There's only one rule: no mimes. Sorry, you can only be trapped in a real box.
