A Brief History of How We Came to Be
The Gathering Dark is comprised of two full-time members. Josh Dunkin and Steve DuRose met at trivia night in 2016. Josh hosting, Steve competing. Between questions, Josh played a song of his choice. Steve always seemed to know and like the tunes despite how obscure or random the song. Once both Josh and Steve realized the other was a songwriter, the friendship soared into the realm of bandmates. And they’ve been writing and rocking ever since.
